This contribution aims at analysing the habitat of Margherita Savoia salt mines, from the origins to present days, beside examining the path leading to the exploitation, within the SPA object of the study, of “Acque madri” and the mud baths of the salt mines. Finally the work will enphasise the current situation and the outlook of the SPA as a tourist resource.
