This paper presents one of the main outcomes of the PRIN 2022 project D.A.N.T.E.-U. Design Accessibility Network to Enjoy University, which addresses the need to rethink university teaching in response to increasing student diversity. Adopting Universal Design for Learning (UDL) as a systemic pedagogical framework, the project conceptualises inclusion beyond a disability-centred and compensatory approach, framing learner variability as a structural condition of higher education. The contribution describes the design and implementation of the D.A.N.T.E.-U digital platform, conceived as a multimodal learning environment that integrates theoretical resources, empirical evidence, and practical tools to support inclusive instructional design within a faculty development perspective. The platform enables faculty members to engage in structured instructional redesign processes based on barrier analysis, pedagogical differentiation, and reflective monitoring of teaching practices, fostering advanced competencies in inclusive and data-informed teaching. By offering an open and flexible framework adaptable across disciplines and institutional contexts, D.A.N.T.E.-U supports inter-university communities of practice and scalable models of pedagogical innovation, positioning faculty development as a strategic lever for systemic change and contributing to a more accessible and equitable higher education ecosystem.

Abstract
By offering an open and flexible framework adaptable across disciplines and institutional contexts, D.A.N.T.E.-U supports inter-university communities of practice and scalable models of pedagogical innovation, positioning faculty development as a strategic lever for systemic change and contributing to a more accessible and equitable higher education ecosystem.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
