The growing interdependence between sport, economy, and law has given rise to a constant tension between the demands of competitiveness, regularity of competitions, sustainability, and social responsibility towards the actors involved. In this context, sustainability – in its various economic, organizational, social, environmental, and institutional articulations – becomes not only a programmatic objective but a systemic necessity to ensure the balance between development and the safeguarding of sporting integrity. The “multidimensional” and “multifactorial” approach is imposed not only for social, ethical, cultural, or ideal reasons but as a response to the complex dynamics that characterize the sector.

Abstract
The growing interdependence between sport, economy, and law has given rise to a constant tension between the demands of competitiveness, regularity of competitions, sustainability, and social responsibility towards the actors involved. In this context, sustainability – in its various economic, organizational, social, environmental, and institutional articulations – becomes not only a programmatic objective but a systemic necessity to ensure the balance between development and the safeguarding of sporting integrity. The “multidimensional” and “multifactorial” approach is imposed not only for social, ethical, cultural, or ideal reasons but as a response to the complex dynamics that characterize the sector.| File | Dimensione | Formato | |
