During the excavation campaigns at Dime es-Seba/Soknopaiou Nesos (Fayyum, Egypt), between 2019 and 2022, a substantial number of textile fragments was unearthed within the ST6 building. Notably, this assemblage includes around 162 fragments of strips that exhibit consistent features in terms of size and technical characteristics. This article aims to describe the strips, proposing a preliminary interpretation of their function.
