In the last few years, a tight network of archaeological museums has been developing in the Apulia Region as a result of local thrusts aimed at enhancing the territory. Despite a willingness on the part of territorial administrations to support the strong identity value of these initiatives, there are frequent phenomena of a low liveliness of the created structures. Here I propose an analysis of the state of the matter and suggest some considerations regarding possible future developments.
