INTRODUCTION. Low aesthetic predictability of traditional implant techniques urged the authors to evaluate new systems to improve these techniques. AIM OF THE WORK. This article shows 62 implant cases concerning esthetical areas where a flapless immediate load tecniques was used followed by a non fuctional immediate temporary prosthesis in order to maintain a stable tissue position. MATERIALS AND METHODS. The Authors used a protocol establishing the correct implant site respecting biological width in accordance with the Bio-Horizons system protocol in order to maintain original soft tissues position. The piezosurgery technique was used to create implant sites. RESULTS: Follow-up lasted from 1 to 4 years for all cases reported. No patient showed significant variations of soft tissues position after treatment (recession). The percentage of implant success is comparable to the percentage achievable by delayed load technique. CONCLUSIONS. This method follows the guidelines suggested by the literature and allows to obtain a highly predictable aesthetical and functional result. Surgical treatment allowed to respect biological width and a very accurate implant insertion using piezosurgery for implant site creation. CLINICAL IMPLICATIONS. These simple techniques allow to obtain aesthetic functional results that ensure both patient and clinician's satisfaction.
