This study discusses the relationship between “normality” and “normativity” of law as a problem in the current unprecedented climate and ecosystem emergency. Indeed, this emergency imposes an “Endgame” on time, but time has always been considered a factor of self-preservation of legal orders, in the exclusive availability of the human will. This human presumption is now no longer suitable for saving the planet and human coexistence.

Abstract

This study discusses the relationship between “normality” and “normativity” of law as a problem in the current unprecedented climate and ecosystem emergency. Indeed, this emergency imposes an “Endgame” on time, but time has always been considered a factor of self-preservation of legal orders, in the exclusive availability of the human will. This human presumption is now no longer suitable for saving the planet and human coexistence.
