This paper concerns Hieronymus’ Tractatus in psalmum 15. After a brief summary of debate regarding the dating of this text, the first part deals with the exegesis of Ps 15,10. Hieronymus’s argument about Jesus’s resurrected body, which can be traced back to his recurring themes during the Origenist controversy, allows us to propose a new date for this piece of writing. The final part focused on Ps 15,4 highlights Hieronymus’s use of textual criticism of the scriptures as a polemical device and helps us to understand to what degree he is autonomous and to what degree he is dependent on Origen’s interpretations.
