It’s here provided for the first time the edition of the short text on the greek metre added on f. 3v of the ms. Vratislav. Rehd. gr. 26 (saec. XIII2 - vel XIII ex.). This text justaposes (with a error of placement too) three abstracts: 1) Helias Charax, De diversis metris or Liber de metris cap. 2.1-3 about positions, foots, caesuras of the hexameter and the name “heroic”; 2) Appendix Dionysiaca, cap. 1 De pedibus; 3) Anecdota Chisiana de re metrica, cap. 16a about differentiae of hexameters. The ms. can be surely located in the Terra d’Otranto and the works of the three abstracts are not at all unknown in this peripheral area of Byzantine Empire. However, the ms Vratislav. Rehd. gr. 26: 1) for the abstract from Helia Charax uses the same textual tradition (recensio longior) as the manuscript located in Terra d’Otranto Laur. plut. gr. 56, 16 (a. 1450 or 1451); 2) for the abstract from the Appendix uses the tradition of Laur. plut. gr. 56.16 and may be the same exemplar, but not the tradition of another ms. of Terra d’Otranto, i.e. the Vat. Chis. gr. R IV 11 (saec. XIII ex. – XIV in.); 3) for the chapter from Anecdota Chisiana documents a shorter version, but in agreement with the Vat. Chis. gr. R IV 11; may be the same text excerptor changed here his source, i.e. the manuscript used as exemplar.

Abstract
Chis. gr. R IV 11; may be the same text excerptor changed here his source, i.e. the manuscript used as exemplar.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
