The aeronautical sector is an intricate net of industrial relationships and data emerging in different phases of product development that needs to be managed and integrated. Based in this context, this chapter’s aim is to describe the contribution given to the development of the Model-based Big Data Analytics as-a-Service (MBDAaaS) framework, proposed by the Toreador project, within an aerospace manufacturing context. In particular, the development of the fault prediction service, able to detect manufacturing machine faults before the quality of the product is jeopardized, is described in detail.
