Tihis article examines the organisational model of work that Ch. Fourier conceived as the fulcrum of self-realisation and the vehicle of social justice. Fourier's intuitions - given his historical context - included ways to make everyone's right to work a reality: the comunity, beside taking care of the most important services, must ensure that everyone receives a minumum, a form of entry salary ante litteram.
