Since the discovery of millisecond pulsars, and the proposal that the initial period of neutron stars may be extremely short, there has been interest in determining the effects of relativistic rotation. By applying a boost to a rotating magnetic dipole it was found that the radiation is enhanced by the fourth power of the Lorentz factor. This paper addresses the question of whether the effect carries through when the effect of the mass of the neutron star is taken into account. It is found that the enhancement is lost.
