The writer approach on intercultural education concerns the problems of identity and social belonging that the people have to face in the global society and consider the cultural mediation as a fundamental condition for the integration of the subjects but not sufficient to promote a jointly liable society. Nowadays everybody needs plural mind, flexible identity and intercultural skills in order to accept the logic of change and to avoid the social risk both narcissism and fundamentalism. It is necessary an intercultural training not only to assure the local integration also to promote a global human living together. (interculturality, education, mediation, identity, belonging)
