In this Communication we report on the realization of a bicolor organic micropixel array by a bottom-up dewetting process, exploiting for the first time the conformational flexibility of an oligothiophene derivative, 2,6-bis-(5′-hexyl- [2,2′]bithiophen-5-yl)-3,5-dimethyl-dithieno[3,2-b;2′,3′-d]thiophene (DTT7Me).The simultaneous control over both the molecular conformation and the supramolecular pattern ofDTT7Me allowed us to vary its emitting properties at micrometer resolution, thereby realizing a well-defined pattern of red- and green-emitting pixels froma single molecularmaterial.
