Thin-Walled Pottery, while underrepresented in the Salento peninsula, has gained attention through studies of materials found in the waters of Torre Santa Sabina near Brindisi, southern Apulia. These studies have expanded our understanding and defined two principal groups of this ceramic type. The first group, linked to a Late Republican shipwreck, includes beakers inspired by Tyrrhenian designs but likely produced in the Ionian arc or in the Taranto area. The second group, featuring grey gloss cups, relates to early Imperial Adriatic productions. The connection of these to another wreck is still under discussion. This data initiated a comparative study of similar finds in other wrecks and a detailed analysis of Torre Santa Sabina materials in relation to the Ionian-Adriatic area.

Abstract
This data initiated a comparative study of similar finds in other wrecks and a detailed analysis of Torre Santa Sabina materials in relation to the Ionian-Adriatic area.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
