In this work a simple, low cost and compact PIFA antenna for Bluetooth application is presented. The size of the proposed antenna is 16.3*6*4.9mm and it is designed and simulated under CST software using the low cost substrate FR4. The simulated S11 is <-10 dB over 2.42-2.49 GHz. The antenna shows acceptable gain around of 1.56 dB at the frequency 2.45 GHz with nearly omnidirectional radiation patterns over Bluetooth application.

Abstract
