In this paper we demonstrate the transformation of optical barcode into UHF RFID tag, which makes the barcode readable by both an RFID reader and an optical reader. The designed structure is fully realized by 3D Printing Technology including both dielectric and conductive components. The tag is provided with a-15 dBm sensitivity RFID chip (Impinj Monza 3) and can be scanned through both a barcode reader and a canonical UHF RFID reader. An RFID read range of 2m is demonstrated which represents an appreciable distance considering the chip sensitivity and the prototyping technique.

Abstract
In this paper we demonstrate the transformation of optical barcode into UHF RFID tag, which makes the barcode readable by both an RFID reader and an optical reader. The designed structure is fully realized by 3D Printing Technology including both dielectric and conductive components. The tag is provided with a-15 dBm sensitivity RFID chip (Impinj Monza 3) and can be scanned through both a barcode reader and a canonical UHF RFID reader. An RFID read range of 2m is demonstrated which represents an appreciable distance considering the chip sensitivity and the prototyping technique.File in questo prodotto:
