Abstract
The article aims to present chances of a research which allowed to individualize productive process and economic role of the textile activity at Herakleia between the 3rd and the 2nd century BCE. The possibility to go back to the quality of the realized fabric starting from the discoid circular loom weights discovered in the Western quarter of the town and the validation produced by some historical sources simultaneous to the analyzed archaeological contexts, allow to rewrite an activity which cannot be defined through the traditional research methods.File in questo prodotto:
