The chapter presents the peer education as a pedagogical framework to develop skills for life. The introduction explains the definition of the term peer education and its evolution. In the first part are traced the pedagogical aspects of peer education. The areas, in which is placed peer education, are defined. The focus is in particular on informal contexts. Learning theories are presented. These theories defining peer education as a context whit rich educational potential. In particular are assumed the socio-constructivist theory of learning, the theory of habits of mind, the theory of multiple intelligences, the methodology of cooperative learning. Through this research, it is assumed that the peer education develops attitudes of resilience. At the end are underlined some aspects of research: the perspective noted is to extend peer education beyond age of adolescence. It is a possibility to improve adult education with peer and opportunity of lifelong learning.
