This essay focusses on the ethical and political meaning, and value, of the “we” in Husserl’s phenomenology. I present a model of Husserl’s conception of “communitarian association”, and explain the claim that it takes priority over different forms of foundation or analysis. then I explore the scope of his idea of sociality, and, through a careful analysis of Husserl’s unpublished works, describe the forms in which its various aspects are “constituted”. Still in an ethical perspective, I inquire into the origin of moral norms, and assess the meaning and function of such categories as the idea of State, social unity, communication within the “practical community of the will”, and, finally, recognition. I emphasize the importance of the “practical” dimension of all these notions beside their cognitive dimension.

Abstract
I emphasize the importance of the “practical” dimension of all these notions beside their cognitive dimension.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
