Undoped and Pd doped SnO2 thin films prepared by means of the sol-gel process were tested for detection of NO2 and CO and their gas sensing properties were studied in dry air The sensitivity to gases was studied in order to find the optimum detection temperature. Measurements of electrical resistance showed that these films have a sensitivity higher than 1000% for NO2 at temperatures in the range of 150-200 degrees C. On the contrary the response to CO is below 100% of the electrical variation.

Abstract
Undoped and Pd doped SnO2 thin films prepared by means of the sol-gel process were tested for detection of NO2 and CO and their gas sensing properties were studied in dry air The sensitivity to gases was studied in order to find the optimum detection temperature. Measurements of electrical resistance showed that these films have a sensitivity higher than 1000% for NO2 at temperatures in the range of 150-200 degrees C. On the contrary the response to CO is below 100% of the electrical variation.File in questo prodotto:
