The proposed study is a preliminary step toward the development of an hybrid RANS/LES solver for the turbulent compressible flows based on high-order schemes and advanced sub-grid models. The Taylor-Green vortex is computed for different Reynolds numbers by using high-order centered schemes. For each simulation, we study the effect of the mesh size and of the numerical scheme on turbulent small scale dynamics.
