Description and interpretation of the remains of a public bath of roman conception found during the excavation of Area 2 at Amheida, ancient Trimithis in the Dakhla oasis. It is the first bath with hypocaustum to be found in the oasis and it dates back to the 2nd-3rd cent. AD. After its abandonment it was used as foundations for new residential buildings.
