Abstract

Since it's almost well-known that no single food can supply all the nutrients and other food components required for good health, there is the need to establish a minimum group of foods that allows an optimal assumption of all the nutritive principles and prevents the diet-related diseases. Hence it follows the proliferate of several food guides, that, if, on one side, they are useful to clarify many mechanisms of diet and healthy problems, from the other side, they disconcert and confuse the consumers.
