Abstract
The paradox of the global society is on the one hand, the separateness of the systems established and mono-cultural national education, secondly, the homologous knowledge that permeates the area of informal cultural exchanges. We can consider the phenomenon of globalization from multiple perspectives: the personal conduct, the conduct of mass, the range of local and international policy. The majority of the inhabitants of the planet, even in Western countries, has only a vague notion of the phenomenon of globalization, and probably a incorrect and distorted information from the media. People requires new facilities assessment and evaluation, new ideas and values to a more appropriate management of reality; it is necessary to assure, the right to a human coexistence. WE argue that cultural mediation is not the same thing of intercultural mediation; those who work in a complex society with intercultural competence may promote plural and authentic thinking identities capable of expressing himself and to be accepted. The IP-ICIC is a multidisciplinary course suitable to provide intercultural skills to young future social workers to enable them to act in situations of change and social reconstruction, with great clarity of ideas and methodI documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
