Various innovative concretes have been recentely proposed for the final phase of tunnel linings, as Fiber Reinforced Concrete (FRC), High-Performance Concrete (HPC), Self-Consolidating Concrete (SCC), Alkali Free Structural Shotcrete and super- Sulfated Concrete are becoming increasingly popular. The contribution is manly devoted to Fiber-Reinforced Concrete, that is examined in terms of both mechanical properties and durability.
