The paper is devoted to the analysis of the bond between concrete members reinforced with externally bonded Fiber Reinforced Polymers (FRP) sheets. An experimental investigation is performed by beam tests; obtained results are used to define an analytical bond-slip law at the interface concrete- FRP sheets. A theoretical non-linear model, derived from a cracking analysis founded on slip and bond stresses, is adopted for theoretical analysis of concrete members reinforced with internal steel rebars and externally bonded with FRP sheets. Comparisons with experimental results and a parametric analysis to highlight main factors influencing the bond properties are carried out.
