Objective of this paper is to present the first results of the Social Network Mapping research carried out by eBMS ISUFI (University of Salento) and MIT Sloan Center for Digital Business. The objectives were: - To assess the individual and team contribution in creating intellectual capital by monitoring the degree of interactivity, connectivity and sharing using the current technological platform and the new Virtual eBMS. - To analyse the knowledge flow among formal and informal teams in order to have an early indication of the hidden innovation. - To extend MIT mapping tools to include electronic activities beyond email exchanges.
