The excessive focus on competition and global growth has sometimes limited the attention of universities and higher education institutions toward the diversification of cultures, background, experience, values, and behaviors of students. Multiculturalism and pluralisms of learners’ perspectives and competence development needs may be both an opportunity and a threat in the endeavor of creating excellent human capital. In particular, there is a need to develop integrated approaches to the design of content, learning processes and enabling technology systems. In this frame, this paper aims to contribute by presenting some insights gained in a nine-year experience of post-graduate business management education. In particular, a “hybrid” approach is here synthesized which has been applied in community creation, curricula delivery and project activities to address the diversity in culture, background and experience of students.

Abstract
The excessive focus on competition and global growth has sometimes limited the attention of universities and higher education institutions toward the diversification of cultures, background, experience, values, and behaviors of students. Multiculturalism and pluralisms of learners’ perspectives and competence development needs may be both an opportunity and a threat in the endeavor of creating excellent human capital. In particular, there is a need to develop integrated approaches to the design of content, learning processes and enabling technology systems. In this frame, this paper aims to contribute by presenting some insights gained in a nine-year experience of post-graduate business management education. In particular, a “hybrid” approach is here synthesized which has been applied in community creation, curricula delivery and project activities to address the diversity in culture, background and experience of students.I documenti in IRIS sono protetti da copyright e tutti i diritti sono riservati, salvo diversa indicazione.
