Abstract
Poppet valves in internal combustion engines with particular attention paid to the discharge coefficient have been analysed. A theoretical model for the discharge coefficient based on the geometry of valve-seat fit has been introduced. The experimental system employed and the results of an extensive investigation are described. The results confirm the validity of the suggested model.File in questo prodotto:
