This work deals with the planning, carrying out and management criteria of the career counselling services. The theoretical and methodological frame assumed, involves a systemic approach to service organization, counseling and guidance in the university and territorial context. According to this conception, motivational and cognitive resources students start up in academic educational paths are linked to the university context ability to foster the forming identity processes, the professional profile and the awareness of the employment opportunities and job choice. That involves counselling specialized structures able to offer: - a support for choosing a study course and verifying successful/unsuccessful factors - a monitoring system of the formative paths and a support for the formative success - services and experiences to facilitate the working world access From the above, the career counselling is conceived and organized as a complex activity requiring inter-institutional synergies and also taking up longitudinal consideration of the processes leading to an effective support to the employment.
