Cores of second order differential linear operators with unbounded coefficients on ${bf R}^n$ ,

We consider the problem of the existence of bi-cores for some classes of second order elliptic differential operators with unbounded coefficients generating bi-continuous semigroups on the space of bounded continuous functions on $\R^N$. As an application, we present a Lie-Trotter type result for the sum of second order differential operators.
